Senior Cook

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cook to lead our kitchen operations and deliver high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for maintaining standards, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth daily service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure food is prepared and served promptly while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate food preparation activities.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in cooking procedures and food handling.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and stock rotation of ingredients.
• Keep kitchen equipment, workstations, and preparation areas clean and hygienic.
• Track inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed to high food‑quality standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
