Senior Cost Manager MEP - Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager for MEP infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role leads cost management services for construction projects, ensuring cost control and quality objectives are met, and coordinates with clients and stakeholders. It also covers commission management, including invoicing processes and project compliance through D-365.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost management project teams and key cost management roles, and help onboard new team members and assist in recruitment interviews
• Build working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, support conflict resolution and escalate issues appropriately
• Analyse project requirements and cost deliverables, and help develop cost reporting structures and control mechanisms
• Act as Commission Manager, owning end-to-end service delivery for large or complex commissions
• Own estimating and cost planning, present final revisions of cost plans, and lead monthly post-contract cost reports
• Lead value engineering and life cycle costing exercises, and implement cost controls in schedule, cost, risk and change management
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract administration, and support internal risk management procedures and the contract database
• Manage invoicing in D-365: validate invoice data, coordinate with finance teams, track status and resolve discrepancies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum 7 years' experience in cost management or construction projects
• Strong communication and leadership skills; people management experience is a plus
• Business acumen and experience in a client-facing environment, including value management, value engineering and life cycle costing
• Native-level English, business-level English

Required skills

• Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation software
• D-365 for invoicing and commission management
