Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Security Architecture (2-Year Contract)

About the role

This is a 2-year contract position within the Cyber Security Division, focused on providing strategic guidance and technical leadership in designing and implementing enterprise-wide security architectures. Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a medical declaration and/or further assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise security architectures aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Provide expert security consultancy to project teams and senior management on complex security challenges.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments for new and existing systems, and give remediation recommendations.
• Create and maintain security design patterns, standards and guidelines.
• Lead security architecture governance and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are applied to IT systems.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend their adoption.
• Develop innovative approaches to address complex security challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Security.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in networking or cybersecurity, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
• Experience providing security advisory and consultancy on application and service design, development, implementation and/or management.

Required skills

• DevSecOps methodologies and processes.
• Security architecture of cloud-native applications.
• Understanding of security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, DLP, database activity monitoring, privileged access management, file integrity monitoring, WAF and intrusion prevention.
