Senior Director, Commercial Finance, APAC

About the role

The Senior Director, Commercial Finance, APAC serves as the primary finance partner and strategic advisor to the Head of Region and General Managers across the APAC region. As the commercial finance leader for APAC, the role provides financial leadership, business insights and strategic guidance to drive growth, profitability and long-term value. It sits on the APAC Leadership Team and the Global Commercial Finance Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the APAC Head of Region, General Managers and the APAC Commercial Leadership Team, influencing strategy and investment decisions through data-driven insights.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management for the APAC Commercial organization, evaluate business cases, pricing strategies and investment opportunities, and monitor performance to improve revenue, margin and operating results.
• Contribute to regional priorities and help shape global finance priorities, capabilities and ways of working.
• Lead, coach and develop the APAC finance team, build succession pipelines and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance and ethical practices, and identify and mitigate financial, operational and commercial risks.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in multinational organizations.
• Proven track record partnering with senior commercial leaders and leading finance teams in complex, matrixed, multi-country environments.
• APAC regional experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field; typically 20+ years of related experience with 12+ years of applicable management experience.
