Senior Director, Global Distribution Management

About the role

Valvoline Global Operations is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Global Distribution Management function from Singapore. Reporting to the SVP & GM, APAC, you will shape the worldwide distributor strategy, ensuring consistent standards while allowing local market adaptation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the global distributor management strategy, operating model, governance framework and supporting tools.
• Develop distributor selection criteria, capability models, scorecards, business planning tools, dashboards and management processes that drive profitable growth.
• Lead the creation of distributor programs, value propositions and capability‑building initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional commercial teams and global functions to align processes, analytics and decision‑making.
• Ensure consistent distributor management standards across the Americas, APAC and EMEA while enabling appropriate local adaptations.
• Monitor and enhance distributor performance, capability and profitability through data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in global distributor or channel management, preferably within the automotive or industrial solutions sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of building frameworks that deliver profitable growth.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with regional teams and global support functions.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
