Senior Director, Metals Packaging APAC

About the role

The Senior Director, Metals Packaging APAC develops and executes metal procurement strategies for The Coca-Cola's Cross Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG), with a focus on the APAC region. The primary location is Singapore, with a secondary location in Manila, Philippines. The role reports to the Managing Director, Metals and is an individual contributor position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and influence internal stakeholders to implement metal strategies regionally, collaborating with the global team to highlight the system's global buying power.
• Assess current and future business environments and develop Global Procurement Business Plans aligned with bottling partners' needs.
• Develop and run negotiation strategies that deliver value against business objectives and build sustainable supplier relationships.
• Analyze complex contract negotiation issues and industry trends to mitigate risk, protect supply continuity and seize opportunities.
• Lead supplier relationship management partnerships, including continuous cost optimization, and contribute to CEPG's sustainable global metal strategies.
• Influence key stakeholders up to SVP/CPO level and lead a matrixed team of procurement and technical personnel from the bottling community.
• Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions and policies, and support regional bottlers with metal-related issues.

Required profile

• University degree or MBA preferred.
• 10 years of procurement experience, some in packaging.
• Coca-Cola System experience.
• Metal can industry experience.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders such as bottlers, suppliers, legal, R&D and marketing.
