Senior Director of Sales – Hotel Revenue Leadership

About the role

The Senior Director of Sales (Proactive) leads the revenue generation for rooms, banquets and outlet events across all market segments at two iconic Singapore hotels. Reporting to the Commercial General Manager, this senior leader drives strategy, manages a team of Directors of Sales and ensures the achievement of revenue, market share and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve annual revenue targets for rooms, banquets and outlet events, monitoring RevPAR and STR market‑share indices.
• Lead and develop Directors of Sales and proactive sales teams covering Corporate, Leisure, M.I.C.E., Airline and Luxury Consortia segments.
• Oversee sales administration, budgeting, expense control and regular reporting of KPIs to senior management.
• Establish lead generation partnerships, qualify key accounts and allocate sales coverage to priority markets.
• Monitor weekly sales activity, adjust strategies, and ensure optimal use of resources to penetrate new accounts.
• Drive recruitment, development, retention and succession planning for the sales department.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in hotel sales leadership with a proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue and market‑share goals.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret RevPAR, STR data and forecast performance.
• Demonstrated capability to manage and develop senior sales managers and directors.
• Excellent understanding of corporate, leisure, M.I.C.E., airline and luxury consortia sales channels.
