Senior ELV Engineer – Design & Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking a Senior ELV Engineer to lead the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and client acceptance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across large‑scale industrial, commercial and advanced technology projects in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle, including public address, access control, CCTV, gas detection, fire alarm, IT cabling and structured data networks.
• Develop P&IDs, instrument and I/O lists, sequence of operations, logic diagrams and cause‑and‑effect matrices.
• Manage ELV packages, project milestones and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Evaluate vendor submissions, approve shop drawings and oversee subcontractor testing and commissioning.
• Guide engineers in cable routing plans, schedules and control system schematics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering or related discipline (diploma holders need 2‑3 additional years of experience or equivalent certifications).
• 8‑15 years of experience in ELV design, construction management and commissioning.
• Proven experience with process and building control systems, instrumentation engineering and advanced technology facilities.

Required skills

• DDC, PLC, DCS, SCADA and Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).
• Fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control and gas detection system design.
• IT data networks and structured cabling.
• P&ID creation, instrument & I/O list preparation, sequence of operations and logic diagram development.
• Vendor evaluation, shop drawing approval and commissioning procedures.
