Senior Engineer, APTD Operations

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Engineer for APTD Operations at its Fab 10A facility. The role covers technology development and engineering builds in partnership with internal and external teams such as process, equipment, metrology, site planning and manufacturing, and coordinates engineering builds and APTD operations in line with established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute build plans, priorities, milestones and schedules with cross-functional stakeholders, and forecast build, material, cost and resource requirements.
• Optimize build schedules, material preparation and logistics to minimize waste and delays, and supervise daily execution including wafer offloading, kitting and support of TD builds.
• Support logistics tasks such as materials sending and receiving and submitting samples for failure analysis.
• Coordinate engineering builds and APTD operations, run regular reviews and meetings, and monitor and communicate the status of the operation to stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, proactively resolve risks and issues, and escalate them when needed.
• Manage project documentation and data using SharePoint and Confluence, and ensure deliverables meet program requirements.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, and share AI-enabled improvements within scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3-5+ years' experience in semiconductor frontend/backend manufacturing, preferably at least 1 year of HBM experience.
• Experience in project/process integration, program management, technology development, operations management or process engineering.
• Solid understanding of advanced packaging flows.
• Proven ability to lead teams within a global manufacturing network and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
