Senior Engineer – Industrial Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Industrial Engineering to drive capacity planning, line optimization and continuous improvement within our semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role will focus on building robust production models, analysing bottlenecks and supporting new product ramp‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity models for bumping processes and perform line balancing across equipment such as plating, lithography and reflow ovens.
• Conduct time‑and‑motion studies, define standard cycle times and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, lead cost‑reduction initiatives and support budgeting for new equipment or automation.
• Monitor KPIs (cycle time, throughput, equipment utilisation, OEE) using statistical tools and generate management dashboards.
• Implement Kaizen projects, collaborate with process, equipment and quality teams, and define man‑machine ratios.
• Design and optimise floor layout, material flow and support smart‑manufacturing automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and factory physics/queuing theory.
• Proven project‑management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
