Senior Engineer, Process Development - Cell Film, Advanced NAND

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Engineer in Process Development for Cell Film, Advanced NAND at its Fab 10N/X site. You will be an early-career technical contributor who executes process development activities for cell film modules supporting advanced NAND memory technologies. The role builds strong foundations in thin film processes, disciplined experimental execution and process-device interactions under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute established thin film processes (ALD/CVD) according to defined procedures and development plans
• Run experiments, collect data and keep accurate records of results
• Analyze data, spot trends and anomalies, and present findings in team forums with guidance from senior engineers
• Learn tool operation, recipe structure and basic hardware, and support tool qualifications, process checks and troubleshooting
• Understand how cell film processes affect downstream integration and device behavior, and support failure analysis for yield or reliability issues
• Follow handoff and documentation practices, and collaborate with senior engineers, equipment engineers and integration teams

Required profile

• PhD, or Master's degree with at least 3 years, or Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field
• Willingness to learn semiconductor process tools and fab metrology

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of thin film deposition (ALD, CVD)
• Basic knowledge of materials science, chemical reactions and vacuum systems
• Familiarity with experimental methods and data interpretation
