Senior Engineering Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Specialist to provide sputter engineering support for hard‑disk media production. The role ensures that all process procedures, specifications and documentation are followed, and that production runs smoothly in a clean‑room environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production line by monitoring process flow, specifications and procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor problems quickly and effectively.
• Perform process buy‑off after equipment preventive maintenance or breakdowns.
• Document manufacturing processes and prepare shift hand‑over reports.
• Assist process engineers with experiments aimed at process improvement and OEE enhancement.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and audit preparation.
• Provide training and certification for new personnel.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
• Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a clean‑room environment and on a 12‑hour night shift (7:30 pm – 7:45 am).

Required skills

• Sputter technology knowledge.
• Process engineering and equipment preventive maintenance.
• Experience with OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement.
