Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Ecommerce Project Manager (2‑yr Contract)

About the role

This position leads end‑to‑end delivery of innovation and system‑enhancement projects for an ecommerce platform. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, work with IT and vendors, and ensure projects are delivered on scope, quality and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from ideation to go‑live across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Translate business needs into structured specifications and collaborate with IT and external vendors to design, implement and validate scalable digital solutions.
• Maintain a central execution tracker, risk register and project documentation as the single source of truth.
• Conduct data analysis, define KPIs and monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design and enforce standardised intake processes, SOPs, lead times and escalation protocols for system enhancements.
• Prepare and distribute weekly status reports, newsletters and risk alerts to keep stakeholders informed.
• Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions and decision‑making ceremonies to manage expectations and resolve trade‑offs.
• Identify blockers, analyse root causes and propose actionable solutions to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; advanced degree or PM/innovation certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in innovation, digital transformation or project management, with a track record of process improvement and system implementation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
