Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Flight Operations Engineering

About the role

Singapore Airlines is looking for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager for its Flight Operations Engineering Department, Flight Operations Division. The successful candidate will provide technical support for the airline's fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operation-related and engineering-related technical support in the day-to-day running of the SIA fleets
• Keep operations manuals such as Flight Crew Operations Manuals and Minimum Equipment Lists up to date using XML tools
• Assist Flight Operations Engineering Executives in airplane performance, airport and engineering studies
• Liaise with various departments on operational and engineering matters pertaining to flight operations
• Bridge the gap between Engineering and the Flight Crew's concerns and interests
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Flight Operations Engineering

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• CAAS AME licence or ATPL holder with some flight experience is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of working experience, though not essential
• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
• Keen to learn and motivated to achieve results
