Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Learning & Development (In-house Trainer)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to lead our Learning & Development function as an in‑house trainer. You will design, develop and deliver engaging training programmes that boost the capabilities of both frontline and office staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver in‑house training programmes for frontline and office employees.
• Conduct sessions on customer service, sales, communication, supervisory skills and workplace capabilities.
• Create and update training materials, facilitator guides, activities and assessment tools.
• Gather stakeholder feedback to identify training needs and support appropriate learning solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to content and delivery.
• Support the implementation of the company’s broader learning and development initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Business, Psychology or a related field.
• ACL​P, ACTA or an equivalent adult‑learning qualification is preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in training, facilitation or L&D (five years may qualify for the Assistant Manager level).
• Strong facilitation, presentation and training‑content development abilities.
• Experience training frontline or operational staff, preferably in retail, FMCG or other customer‑facing environments.
• Engaging, hands‑on approach with a passion for developing people.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and relevant digital learning tools.
