(Senior) Executive / Assistant Manager, Medicine Undergraduate Education (Contract)

About the role

NUHS is hiring a (Senior) Executive / Assistant Manager for its Undergraduate Education Team within the Medicine department. Working on a contract basis, you will mainly manage the clinical training programmes for medical undergraduates posted to the hospital, overseeing end-to-end undergraduate education operations in Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Administer clinical postings and electives and plan allocations across divisions
• Lead pre-attachment onboarding and communications, and coordinate assessments and feedback on teaching and learning platforms
• Manage examination and regular posting logistics, including timetables and venue bookings, support students and close feedback loops through surveys
• Handle finance tasks such as administering training and other claims and supporting procurement
• Maintain accurate data, drive process improvements and digital enablement, and partner with the Associate Executive on daily operations, quality checks and peak-period coverage
• Support the department in department-wide programmes and other functions requested by the Reporting Officer

Required profile

• Degree holder or equivalent
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Enjoys engaging with others; responsible, responsive and adaptable to change
• Organised, meticulous and able to solve problems and take initiative

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good oral and written communication skills
