Senior Executive / Deputy Manager - Student Development

About the role

ITE College East is hiring a Senior Executive / Deputy Manager for its Student Development department. You will plan, facilitate and execute student engagement and development programmes, including local and overseas learning experiences, that nurture the holistic growth of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute student engagement activities, workshops and community-based programmes that integrate learning experiences.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful programmes and opportunities for students.
• Handle logistics, communications and stakeholder coordination for events and activities.
• Manage procurement, grants reporting and budgeting for programmes and activities.
• Drive systems and process improvements, including designing and automating processes to support digitalisation needs.
• Serve as trip leader for overseas exposure trips, supervising students and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
• Organise overseas exposure programmes, obtain quotations for airfares, accommodation and ground transport in line with procurement policies, and manage trip costings, student subsidies, PSEA deductions, co-payments, daily allowances and post-programme reporting.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in student development, youth engagement or programme/event management.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills, with a passion for engaging and developing youth.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, able to work across departments and with external partners and vendors.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage budgets and perform projections.
• Adaptable and open to varied portfolios, including leading overseas exposure trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Power BI, analytics and automation skills are an added advantage.
