Senior Executive Engineer – Geotechnical

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Executive Engineer specialised in geotechnical engineering to lead design and analysis activities for ground improvement, foundations, excavations, slopes, instrumentation and site investigations, as well as airfield pavement projects in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and assess geotechnical designs for ground improvement works, foundations, excavations, slopes and instrumentation.
• Perform airfield pavement design in compliance with ICAO and FAA requirements.
• Plan, design, supervise and coordinate civil and infrastructural works, including site works and airfield pavements.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet statutory standards, regulations and relevant Codes of Practice.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Support the Team Leader in maintaining high‑quality design standards and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (minor in pavement) recognised by PEB.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in geotechnical and pavement engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes and authority submission requirements.
• Experience with ground improvement, civil and structural design is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in geotechnical design software such as Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, GeoStudio and TEDDS.
• Experience with airfield pavement design software.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes for geotechnical design.
