Senior Executive, Purchasing

About the role

NTU is hiring a Senior Executive, Purchasing for its Main Campus. The role manages and administers all procurement activities, from quotation and tendering to supplier negotiation and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer all procurement activities in partnership with the business and stakeholders.
• Handle the quotation and tendering process, including preparing specifications, calling, evaluating and awarding quotations and tenders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and cross-functional departments to secure the best price, delivery time and quality.
• Ensure procurement follows NTU guidelines and policies through cross-department collaboration.
• Process tactical purchases and provide procurement administrative support, including PO processing and contract management.
• Generate and analyse purchasing reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks requested by management and build positive working relationships with peers and supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma equivalent qualification, or equivalent professional procurement experience with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Organised and meticulous, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strategic thinker willing to go the extra mile.
