Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical facility systems. The role ensures operational stability of electrical, HVAC, cleanroom, water, gas, and fire protection systems across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operating parameters of facility systems, verify data against control limits, and report deviations.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks and complete related documentation (shift reports, work orders, system updates).
• Troubleshoot emergency situations to restore normal system operation.
• Supervise external maintenance contractors, ensuring compliance with EHS, scope of work, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, conduct first‑layer process audits, and support chemical store and centrifuge maintenance programs.

Required profile

• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar facilities maintenance role.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable with shift work.
