Senior / Family Physician

About the role

NUHS is looking for a Senior / Family Physician who will take part in patient management, team-based care, education, research and audit activities for the benefit of patients and the clinic. The physician will also lead a team in providing holistic patient care and join the wider NUHS system in helping meet the challenges of an aging population and rising demand for medical services.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in patient management, team-based care, education, research and audit activities.
• Lead a team in providing holistic patient care.
• Demonstrate good diagnostic assessment to patients.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Polyclinic and NUP.

Required profile

• Family Physician accredited and registered with the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB) and the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Officer or similar, including at least 1 year in primary care (polyclinic or general practice).
• Leadership qualities; candidates with them may be considered for leadership roles.

Required skills

• Good clinical skills and judgment in patient management.
• Good interpersonal skills and rapport with patients, caregivers and colleagues.
• Willingness to keep professional knowledge and skills up to date.
