Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Dyson is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support the Head of Finance for IT. You will work closely with functional leaders and HR partners to drive the finance strategy, optimise spend, and deliver accurate reporting and forecasting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the forecast and annual budgeting process for assigned functions.
• Provide meaningful variance analysis and insights for group reporting.
• Collaborate with HR to capture people‑related costs for month‑end, forecasting and budgeting.
• Identify cost drivers, optimise spend and support CAPEX and global overhead reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including month‑end close.
• Handle ad‑hoc financial tasks and support the Head of Finance as needed.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across finance peers, senior leaders and HR.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers and spend optimisation.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
