About the role

The Senior Finance Specialist will provide expert financial oversight for a technology platform that connects freelancers with AI‑driven microtasks. Working fully remote, you will ensure accurate transaction processing, regulatory compliance, and reliable financial reporting across a high‑volume, global payment ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile financial transactions across multiple payment gateways and third‑party processors.
• Validate and process micro‑task payments to freelancers worldwide, adhering to regional tax and labor regulations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records within defined turnaround times.
• Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for audit and compliance review.
• Monitor platform fee structures and recommend adjustments to optimise revenue while staying competitive.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or payment processing within gig‑economy platforms or digital marketplaces.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote environment with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Strong understanding of international tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and freelancer tax compliance.
