Senior Financial Controller – Singapore

About the role

The Senior Financial Controller will lead the accounting function for Enerpac in Singapore, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for the regional entity. Reporting to the Accounting Manager APAC & International Controller, the role combines technical accounting expertise with strong internal‑control oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce complete financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee operational control activities for the Singapore warehouse.
• Review and post journal entries, and perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control policies, identifying gaps and implementing corrective measures.
• Support technical accounting issues and align reporting with global accounting policies.
• Partner with local leadership and the Center of Excellence in India to drive financial excellence and process transformation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal‑control frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate across regions.
• Proven track record of managing month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close cycles.
