Senior Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group serving private markets, is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant (Private Equity) to manage financial servicing for a portfolio of clients. You will act as subject matter expert for designated clients, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client and investor queries within 24 hours and deliver quality service to designated clients
• Review designated client work (NAV, financial statements and ad hoc tasks) and assist other teams on reviews
• Develop, implement and report KPIs quarterly against agreed SLAs, and prepare reporting timetables
• Maintain regular contact with clients and support new business take-on where required
• Coordinate with the back office, plan workloads and use additional resources to meet deadlines
• Keep reconciled cash balances for clients and maintain client folders for audit season
• Complete electronic time sheets daily for billing and keep the client database and Outlook records up to date
• Use Investran and Paxus, and adhere to procedures and checklists to minimise risk; report errors to the Compliance officer

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent, with 4-5 years of accounting or financial services experience
• Strong knowledge of private equity, family office and open-ended industries
• Experience managing service operations, client relationships and delivering client outcomes
• Ability to communicate with senior management and key stakeholders
• Desired: experience in a financial services office environment

Required skills

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements with detailed notes and disclosures
• Intermediate Microsoft Office, especially Excel; advanced Excel with Pivot Tables and data analytics desired
• Investran and Paxus
