Senior GIS Solution Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Esri is looking for a senior GIS subject‑matter expert to help infrastructure customers solve complex business challenges with ArcGIS. You will work with distributors, partners and end‑users to design, demonstrate and sell GIS‑driven solutions across water, electric, gas and telecommunications sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with technical decision‑makers, lead technical meetings and support the sales process for Esri software and solutions.
• Act as a technical leader and domain expert, designing complex GIS solutions that integrate with enterprise IT, third‑party systems and cloud platforms.
• Craft and propose GIS‑based strategies that address customers’ critical challenges and demonstrate business value.
• Develop and deliver presentations for both technical and non‑technical audiences, and represent Esri at conferences and executive engagements.

Required profile

• 5+ years creating maps, performing spatial analysis and configuring web applications with Esri technology.
• 3+ years experience in water, electric, gas or telecommunications domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, engineering or a related field; ability to travel 25‑50% internationally.

Required skills

• ArcGIS and broader Esri technology expertise.
• Spatial analysis, web‑application configuration, geodatabases and DBMS knowledge.
• IT infrastructure concepts: hardware, storage, security, networking, virtualization, cloud computing (Azure or AWS).
• Integration with BI, CRM, ERP and analytics platforms.
• Programming and scripting in Python and JavaScript.
