- Provide technical leadership in hydrology, hydraulics, urban drainage, stormwater management and flood-risk assessment.
- Guide the development, review and application of one-dimensional and two-dimensional hydrological and hydraulic models, and turn modelling results into design requirements, adaptation measures and investment recommendations.
- Prepare and quality-assure technical reports, design documentation, drawings, calculations and client deliverables.
- Coordinate across water engineering, coastal engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture, environment and economics, and act as main point of contact for clients, authorities and stakeholders.
- Support engagement with Singapore authorities and public-sector clients (PUB, HDB, NParks, JTC) and help ensure compliance with Singapore guidelines, codes and approvals.
- Coach engineers and modellers, contribute to tenders and proposals, and promote nature-based solutions, blue-green infrastructure and water-sensitive urban design.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, hydraulic, water resources, environmental engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 8 or more years of experience in water infrastructure, urban drainage, flood-risk management or climate adaptation.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design projects and managing scope, programme, budget, resources, risks and quality.
- Strong written and spoken English, and the ability to mentor engineers at different levels.
- Knowledge of Singapore's water-management context; familiarity with PUB requirements and ABC Waters Design is an advantage.
Required skills
- Hydrology, hydraulics, drainage design, stormwater management and flood-risk assessment.
- One-dimensional and two-dimensional hydraulic modelling; experience with tools such as MIKE, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM, GIS or similar is mentioned but not required.
- Preparation and review of technical reports, drawings, calculations and specifications.
What we offer
- A leading role in Ramboll's water infrastructure and climate adaptation activities in Singapore.
- Technically challenging assignments with significant societal and environmental relevance.
