Senior Innovation & Venture Designer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Innovation & Venture Designer to join a large financial services organisation’s venture‑building and innovation arm in Singapore. Working on a hybrid basis, you will partner with the Head of Innovation and Design to shape customer‑centric digital and service experiences across multiple new ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end experience design for digital products and platforms across the venture lifecycle, from discovery through to scale.
• Translate customer needs, business strategy and technical constraints into intuitive, usable and scalable design solutions.
• Define and maintain design standards, interaction patterns and design systems where appropriate.
• Lead design‑led discovery activities, including user research, journey mapping, service design and problem framing.
• Apply Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Jobs‑to‑Be‑Done and rapid experimentation to validate concepts.
• Support venture incubation by shaping value propositions, MVP definitions and experimentation roadmaps.
• Facilitate design sprints, ideation sessions and co‑creation workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Use AI to accelerate research synthesis, design ideation and prototyping while ensuring ethical use and regulatory compliance.
• Partner closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure faithful implementation.
• Operate across multiple ventures simultaneously, prioritising work based on strategic impact.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of experience in facilitation, product design, innovation design, UX/UI or consulting.
• Proven track record designing complex, customer‑facing digital products at scale.
• Strong expertise in venture incubation, product commercialisation and evidence‑led design.
• Ability to balance customer needs, commercial objectives, regulatory considerations and delivery constraints.
