Senior IT Auditor – Analyst

About the role

As an IT Auditor at Deloitte you will join a purpose‑driven team that helps clients embed ethical, sustainable and resilient technology practices. You will work on diverse audit engagements, applying data‑analytics and emerging‑technology knowledge to assess and improve IT controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute end‑to‑end IT audit engagements, from planning through fieldwork to reporting.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls and technology risk assessments against frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST and SOX.
• Perform data‑analytics using tools like ACL, Tableau, Power BI and SQL to identify risks, trends and anomalies.
• Develop and refine audit analytics scripts, dashboards and methodologies to increase efficiency and insight.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to recommend risk‑mitigation actions and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, cloud computing and industry‑wide audit trends.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting their development.

Required profile

• 1–6 years of hands‑on experience in IT audit, including ITGC, application controls and technology risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST and SOX.
• Experience applying data‑analytics tools (ACL, Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to audit projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
