Senior Maintenance Specialist – District Cooling Systems

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Specialist will ensure reliable operation of District Cooling System (DCS) and Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM) plants. You will work closely with supervisors, vendors and the operations team to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues and support emergency operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain DCS and RCM plants, conduct routine testing and inspections.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and calibrations of plant equipment.
• Log maintenance activities, close work orders in the maintenance system and assist with reporting.
• Supervise external maintenance contractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Manage security systems, including card access and CCTV.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as LOTO, Permit to Work, work‑at‑height and hazardous area classifications.
• Rotate across Keppel DHCS plant locations for training and lead internal maintenance schedules.
• Execute goods receipt and service entry functions in SAP.
• Assist zone engineers with tracking statutory licences, permits and equipment calibrations.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• NITEC certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Air‑conditioning or Control & Instrumentation.
• Minimum two years of relevant maintenance experience (fresh graduates may be considered with training).
• Hands‑on experience in facility management or process plant equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, P&ID and mechanical drawings.
• Basic awareness of Health, Safety and Environment practices.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and cover multiple locations.

• Building Management System (BMS) operation (training provided).
