Senior Manager (Contracts Management)

About the role

The Senior Manager (Contracts Management) leads the end‑to‑end administration of maintenance, construction, upgrading and improvement contracts for public‑sector properties. You will ensure that all contracts are executed in line with government procurement rules, financial procedures and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Administer pre‑ and post‑contract activities for all estate‑management contracts.
• Develop and enforce contract strategies, governance standards and compliance procedures.
• Prepare, review and issue tender documents, evaluate quotations and award contracts.
• Monitor variation orders, site compliance, budget and cash‑flow projections.
• Process contractor claims, manage payments and maintain contract accounts in the financial system.
• Coordinate post‑contract deliverables such as as‑built drawings, warranties and operation manuals.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date contract documentation and records system.
• Lead internal and external audit activities related to contracts and projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in contracts administration, procurement and estate‑management projects.
• Strong knowledge of Public Sector Standards Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC), Government Instruction Manuals and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, cash‑flow and financial reporting for large‑scale projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with contractors, consultants and internal teams.
