Senior Manager, Deals Advisory (Private Credit & Restructuring)

About the role

PwC's Deals Advisory practice helps businesses realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets. Its Strategic Capital Solutions (SCS) team covers the APAC region and specialises in structured capital advisory, including private credit and structured equity fundraising, and pre-emptive debt restructuring. As a Senior Manager, you will play a key role across the full deal lifecycle on private credit fundraising, structured equity and restructuring mandates, working with Partners, Directors, clients and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage private credit, structured finance and restructuring engagements across the transaction lifecycle
• Oversee financial modelling, credit analysis, due diligence and transaction structuring
• Advise clients on capital structures, financing solutions, fundraising strategies and restructuring options
• Manage relationships with clients, lenders, private credit funds, family offices and institutional investors
• Support fundraising and negotiation, including investor engagement and transaction execution
• Drive business development through market research, proposals and origination
• Review and oversee client presentations, information memoranda and transaction documentation
• Coach and develop junior team members and contribute to practice growth through thought leadership

Required profile

• 8+ years of relevant experience in private credit, structured finance, leveraged finance, investment banking, restructuring or corporate finance advisory
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• CFA, CA, CPA or equivalent qualification is advantageous
• Experience managing complex transactions and multiple stakeholder groups

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling, credit analysis and transaction structuring
• Commercial mindset with interest in business development and client relationship management
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) and an interest in using technology to improve productivity
