Senior Manager, Facilities Management (Mechanical)

About the role

The Kallang Group (TKG) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead mechanical systems across the Kallang Alive Precinct – a 90‑hectare sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub in Singapore. The role will oversee the operation, maintenance and life‑cycle management of mechanical infrastructure for venues such as the National Stadium, Singapore Indoor Stadium and upcoming indoor arena.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise mechanical system maintenance for all precinct facilities, including ACMV, plumbing, irrigation and fire protection.
• Manage service providers to ensure contractual compliance and performance standards.
• Develop and review tender specifications for new works and upgrades.
• Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and life‑cycle cost budgets.
• Drive improvement initiatives and sustainability programmes aligned with Singapore’s Green Plan.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, government agencies, SportSG, consultants and vendors.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing mechanical systems in large‑scale sports or entertainment venues.
• Proven ability to oversee full life‑cycle of mechanical assets from installation to decommissioning.
• Strong track record of working with contractors and regulatory bodies.
• Experience in budgeting, tendering and sustainability projects.

Required skills

• ACMV systems – chillers, air handling units (AHUs), packaged air handling units (PAHUs).
• Plumbing & sanitary systems – ejectors, storm‑water pumps, submersible pumps, hot and cold water distribution.
• Irrigation system design and operation.
• Fire protection systems – ESCS, detectors, call points, fire extinguishers, hose reels, sprinkler systems.
