Senior Manager, Search & Performance

About the role

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Search & Performance Hub across APAC. You will own the end‑to‑end search strategy, drive website performance, and explore emerging channels while collaborating closely with brand, UX, and strategy teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute paid search, SEO, and AEO/GEO strategies to ensure brand visibility on AI‑driven search surfaces.
• Partner with brand and UX teams to deliver CRO recommendations that boost on‑site conversion.
• Work hands‑on with Ad Ops to QA, implement, and maintain tagging and pixel solutions (GTM, server‑side tagging, conversion tracking).
• Lead Google‑focused initiatives, producing regular POVs, audits, and client updates.
• Explore, pilot, and scale emerging platforms such as Reddit and Pinterest.
• Collaborate with Strategy/Planning to set KPIs, test‑and‑learn frameworks, and in‑campaign optimization.
• Guide biddable teams on execution, reporting, and performance alignment.
• Lead client conversations, translating technical performance data into business outcomes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience managing paid search, SEO, and emerging search disciplines.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with brand, UX, and analytics teams.
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of delivering strategic insights.
• Experience in APAC markets and familiarity with AI‑driven search environments.
