Senior M&E Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior M&E Facilities Engineer to lead the operation and maintenance of building services for a real‑estate client across Singapore. The role involves supervising a team of technicians, managing contractors, and ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems run efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technicians and provide technical guidance on troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Supervise ACMV, electrical, lighting, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Conduct routine inspections, follow up on rectifications and recommend improvements.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance programmes to meet schedules, statutory regulations and safety standards.
• Manage contractors and service providers, monitoring work quality, safety compliance and project progress.
• Administer maintenance contracts, prepare specifications, evaluate tenders and oversee contract renewals.
• Handle repair, upgrade and asset improvement projects, controlling budgets and certifying completed works.
• Support M&E capital improvement projects from budgeting through handover.
• Prepare utility consumption reports and drive energy‑ and water‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E facilities engineering.
• Strong ability to engage with tenants, contractors and various stakeholders.
