Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join Aurecon’s Singapore Buildings business. You will work on complex building and infrastructure projects, driving the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from initial design to construction and final review.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams locally and regionally to ensure overall design integrity.
• Manage project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client communications.
• Assist in workload management, resource forecasting and preparation of proposal documentation.
• Review and ensure compliance of drawings, reports, specifications and conduct appraisals.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in mechanical design and commissioning of M&E systems for commercial/industrial buildings.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and practices.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to take increased responsibility.
