Senior Medical Librarian – Systematic Search Services Lead

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU is seeking a Senior Medical Librarian to lead the expansion of its Systematic Search Services (SSS). The role supports faculty, researchers, and healthcare partners by providing high‑quality search methodologies and scholarly communication services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage an effective systematic search service for LKCMedicine, NTU, and partner healthcare organisations.
• Collaborate with the NTU Library to deliver high‑quality advisory services on systematic reviews.
• Provide consultations, trainings, and workshops on searching skills, literature review, and bibliographic management tools.
• Create and disseminate instructional materials, learning activities, and online/print resources that promote research integrity and scholarly communication.
• Support researchers throughout the research lifecycle, including planning, publishing, impact tracking, and archiving.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading systematic search services or similar library programmes.
• Strong background in supporting academic and medical researchers.
• Ability to design and deliver training sessions and workshops.
• Excellent written communication for creating instructional and promotional materials.
