Senior Merchandising Manager – Southeast Asia & Oceania

About the role

Burberry is seeking a Senior Merchandising Manager to lead the product range strategy for the Southeast Asia & Oceania region. The role will drive the development and implementation of the global brand buy, ensuring the collection meets market demands and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the critical path for product range development and global brand buy implementation.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Design, Product Development, Planning, Global Sourcing, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Digital) to influence key decisions.
• Lead, inspire and develop a merchandising team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Develop and present range plans, pricing, cost‑of‑ownership and competitive strategies, validating with senior leadership.
• Present brand buys to regional teams for market openings and coordinate product knowledge training.
• Build strong relationships with regional merchandising teams to gather market feedback and research.
• Analyse weekly and monthly sales data, recommending actions to optimise sell‑through and margin.
• Manage retail pricing positioning, sample ordering processes and associated budgets.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years merchandising experience in luxury fashion, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to work closely with retail teams to define in‑season trading strategies.
• Strong commercial instinct with excellent analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills.
