Senior Nurse Manager – Infection Control

About the role

JurongHealth Campus is seeking a Senior Nurse Manager / Clinician to lead its Infection Prevention Programme. The role focuses on safeguarding patients and staff by implementing robust infection control measures across the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Set direction and policies for the hospital-wide infection prevention and control programme.
• Maintain monitoring systems for infections among patients and staff.
• Promote and enforce preventive measures to minimise infection hazards.
• Supervise environmental sanitation and advise on hospital sanitation standards.
• Review and recommend standards for medical asepsis, isolation techniques, PPE use and biological waste disposal.
• Develop employee health programmes related to infectious diseases.
• Identify, manage and monitor risks using a risk register.
• Update the Infection Prevention Programme and oversee related projects.
• Provide regular updates to senior leaders and support the Infection Prevention team’s development.

Required profile

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
• Degree in Nursing or equivalent; Advanced Diploma in Nursing preferred.
• Valid BCLS certification.
• Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
