Senior Product Designer, Payments

About the role

GrabFin builds fintech services for Southeast Asia, and its Payments team designs a seamless, unified payment journey for users online and offline. As a Senior Product Designer on the Payments team, you will own product design outcomes in a cross-functional problem space team with influence on adjacent teams, reporting to the Senior Design Manager, Payments and working onsite at the Grab One North office.

Key responsibilities

• Own product design outcomes in the problem space team and engage with the team and its stakeholders, with growing influence on adjacent teams
• Align stakeholders to achieve balanced, user-centered business-driving design
• Explain rationales, insights, processes and standards clearly to stakeholders
• Lead team discovery discussions, workshops and problem exploration, and own solution discovery and delivery
• Apply design-thinking frameworks and user-centered principles, and use human factors and HCI for complex problems
• Create end-to-end flows for complex user experiences and impactful new features
• Contribute to the design system by owning and documenting new components and enhancements
• Use prototyping to deliver seamless experiences

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience, with a portfolio showing design process, shipped work and influence
• Experience on cross-functional product teams
• Experience coaching others in interaction design, visual design or prototyping
• Portfolio of recent design work in English, with clear context and end-to-end workflow from problem discovery to launch

Required skills

• Strong fundamentals in interaction and visual design
• Proficiency in mobile and front-end web standards, development and tools such as Figma, Protopie and After Effects
• Advantageous: service design, user research, front-end development, accessible design and design systems
