Senior Product Manager (Contract) - Day 2 Operations

About the role

MAS's Data Analytics & Engineering Division (DAE) is a specialised team within the Data Technology and Architecture department. As a DAE Product Manager on a 2-year contract, you will work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple stakeholder priorities and responding quickly to change. The role covers Day 2 operations and support, and end-to-end product lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Day 2 operations: manage production systems, log analysis and incident response with deep technical understanding
• Oversee root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and service degradations, and propose cross-functional improvements
• Proactively optimise systems by monitoring performance, finding bottlenecks and recommending architectural or process changes
• Troubleshoot technical components, escalate complex problems and suggest preventive measures
• Establish, maintain and improve SOPs, and manage SLA/SLO compliance with regular log and account reviews
• Work with development, infrastructure and business teams to fix operational gaps, and lead post-incident reviews
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, using Agile ceremonies and project metrics
• Oversee project management, risk, resources, quality and security standards, and ICT governance audits

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on Day 2 operations experience with Data Science platforms, analytics infrastructure or similar systems
• Proven RCA experience, with experience creating, executing and evolving SOPs
• Experience managing SLA/SLO compliance, incident management and observability tools
• Understanding of ICT governance frameworks and best practices in financial services
• Preferred: ITIL Expert/Master, PMP and CSM/CSPO certifications
