Senior Product Manager, Identity

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Identity team in Singapore. You will lead the Identity Verification and KYC products that power trusted onboarding for businesses worldwide, defining the roadmap for AI-driven verification and partnering with Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Identity Verification and KYC products and define the roadmap for AI-driven verification, covering evidence collection, orchestration, decisioning, review workflows and straight-through processing optimisation.
• Build identity systems combining vendor integrations, in-house models, AI-assisted review and workflow automation to improve conversion, risk outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Create fast, simple verification experiences for customers while handling complex regulatory, fraud and geographic requirements.
• Evolve the identity provider ecosystem, optimising coverage, reliability, performance, cost and quality across global markets.
• Turn identity verification into a differentiated product advantage and future revenue driver.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Design from discovery through delivery, rollout and iteration.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives for platform, infrastructure or B2B products at scale.
• Experience shipping customer- or developer-facing capabilities in payments, financial services, SaaS, security or infrastructure.
• Strong technical fluency across APIs, services, data pipelines and observability, able to discuss architecture with Engineering.
• Experience in regulated or risk-sensitive environments such as fintech, payments or banking.
• Data-driven approach, including SQL or dashboards for self-serve analysis.
• Leadership across Product, Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Design; end-to-end ownership of problems.

Preferred experience

• Identity, access or security platforms (IAM, authentication, authorisation, policy engines, audit or logging).
• Large-scale notification systems such as email, SMS or push.
• Fraud prevention, security engineering or risk, especially account security, abuse prevention or incident response.
• Platform capabilities such as APIs, services, SDKs or shared components, including versioning, SLAs and documentation.
• Familiarity with SMS and email infrastructure, abuse vectors and mitigations.
• Global-scale experience shipping features across countries and regulatory regimes.
