Senior Product Manager (Payments)

About the role

Tencent's Corporate Development Group (CDG) is the platform for new business incubation and exploration, covering financial technology, advertising, marketing services and payment and financial applications. This Senior Product Manager (Payments) role develops product solutions for overseas wallets and their users' payment and consumption needs, driving product implementation and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze key issues across localized user experience, transaction conversion and partner collaboration for overseas wallet users, and turn them into clear product strategies and solutions.
• Work with internal and external partners to drive cross-border payment projects end-to-end, from requirement alignment and solution design through launch and ongoing operations.
• Stay current on overseas wallets, cross-border payments, payment networks and the payments ecosystem, turning market trends and business practices into product insights for business planning and decision-making.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in payments, digital wallets, cross-border payments, fintech, transaction platforms, open platforms or merchant services is preferred.
• Experience with cross-border payment networks, wallet interoperability platforms, payment platforms, cross-border acquiring, payment aggregation or related products is preferred.
• Strong ability to understand complex businesses and multi-party ecosystems, quickly identify stakeholder roles, business constraints and product boundaries, and form clear, structured judgments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English and Chinese is required to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across regions.
