Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Engineering Project and Solutions Division (EPSD) at Air Liquide Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead gas‑distribution projects across Singapore. You will be responsible for delivering mechanical completion and commissioning while ensuring safety, quality and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve mechanical completion and commissioning of gas supply systems.
• Participate in pre‑tender activities, identify and negotiate with contractors and equipment suppliers.
• Optimize resource allocation and propose cost‑effective installation strategies to improve project margins.
• Ensure all project work complies with Air Liquide’s Quality Management System and HSE standards.
• Support on‑site testing and commissioning of gas distribution equipment.
• Prepare and manage documentation such as Field Acceptance Testing (FAT) and commissioning reports.
• Conduct equipment design reviews and coordinate follow‑up actions with affiliates and clients.
• Provide after‑sales service, troubleshooting and on‑site support.
• Review and adjust SCADA graphics, scales and settings in collaboration with GMS SCADA programmers.
• Replace faulty manifold and controller components during commissioning and train local engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in engineering project management.
• Proven ability to lead projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
