Senior Project Manager – Power Generation

About the role

Rolls‑Royce Power Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of APAC Power Generation projects. You will be responsible for governance, delivery, and stakeholder coordination across a portfolio of high‑value engineered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure execution governance aligns with company guidelines and project management standards.
• Staff project managers to appropriate Power Systems Business (PSB) projects and act as the first escalation point for execution issues.
• Conduct weekly execution team meetings, provide direction, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with functional leads to resolve internal issues and keep non‑conformance costs within agreed thresholds.
• Drive change‑order opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Lead country managers within the regional execution Shared Services Centre (SSC) and coordinate with the APAC hub for execution excellence.
• Prepare monthly execution status reports for senior management.
• Partner with the APAC PMO on portfolio improvement initiatives and organise lessons‑learned sessions.
• Travel overseas as required and stay updated on project‑management best practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of project management and execution experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the engineered solutions sector.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule, budget, and specification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
