Senior Research Fellow – AI Algorithm & Software Development

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of hospital‑at‑home projects. This role sits within the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Group and focuses on creating innovative, data‑driven care models that bring acute care safely into patients' homes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, pilot, and management of hospital‑at‑home service initiatives.
• Oversee collection, management, and advanced analysis of clinical, operational, and patient‑experience data to assess outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, community partners, and other stakeholders to optimise workflows and care pathways.
• Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations, and research outputs, and contribute to grant applications and publications.
• Drive clinical operations research and ensure project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading research projects that integrate clinical operations and data analysis.
• Strong ability to engage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including clinicians and community partners.
• Demonstrated track record of producing research reports, presentations, and scholarly publications.
• Experience in evaluating and improving healthcare delivery models, preferably in a hospital‑at‑home context.
