Senior Research Fellow – RNA Therapeutics & AI

About the role

NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science, in partnership with the LKC School of Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Fellow to lead cutting‑edge work at the intersection of RNA therapeutics and artificial intelligence. The role combines wet‑lab molecular biology with AI‑driven data analysis to accelerate the development of next‑generation RNA‑based treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead wet‑lab experiments focused on RNA therapeutics.
• Design and execute molecular biology experiments that generate data for AI model training.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of AI experts, clinicians, and engineers.
• Stay current with advances in RNA therapeutics and contribute to methodological innovations.
• Present research findings to academic and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in molecular biology with hands‑on experience in wet‑lab techniques.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in RNA therapeutics and high‑throughput screening.
• Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration, especially with computational AI teams.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a rapidly evolving field.
