Senior Service Engineer – Construction & Project Management

About the role

The Senior Service Engineer will support the Superintending Officer in overseeing building construction projects and their subsequent maintenance in Tuas. This position offers exposure to the full building life‑cycle, from design and planning through construction to ongoing upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction works, focusing on architectural finishes and M&E installations.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Assist in QA/QC activities and ensure methods follow approved Method Statements.
• Liaise with RE/RTO for structural work inspections.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to guarantee operational functionality and ease of maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Facilities Maintenance or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction or facilities maintenance of commercial/industrial buildings.
• Experience with building projects that include architectural finishes and M&E installation work (preferred).
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
