Senior Software Engineer (Digital Delivery)

About the role

The Digital Delivery team builds applications that support government officials in decision‑making and operations across multiple agencies. As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer you will co‑lead and mentor a team delivering vital reports and incorporating AI‑powered features for greater user value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of applications that deliver vital reports to government officials.
• Collaborate with the product manager to define technical needs and product direction.
• Maintain high engineering standards with functional, maintainable code.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster their growth.
• Build strong partnerships with infrastructure stakeholders to enable technical execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience for a Senior Engineer role.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated technical leadership experience for Staff Engineer consideration.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with full‑stack web technologies such as ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Passionate, self‑driven, and eager to innovate.
