Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack & FinTech

About the role

Alta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team. You will work on a modern, full‑stack stack that powers a digital securities exchange, tokenisation platform and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end web applications for brokerage, back‑office and exchange platforms.
• Build and integrate API‑driven services, including market data feeds and third‑party KYC/payment providers.
• Implement blockchain and DeFi components for tokenised assets and digital custody.
• Create serverless functions and data pipelines to support high‑throughput trading workflows.
• Collaborate with product, security and operations teams to deliver reliable, data‑driven user experiences.

Required profile

• Several years of professional full‑stack software development experience.
• Strong interest in financial technology, capital markets and digital assets.
• Ability to work autonomously in a rapidly evolving, high‑impact environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to code quality.
• Experience collaborating across distributed teams.
